Why do I neglect deviantART so horribly much?! I am a terrible person and apologize profusely, yet I know that I am totally not going to change my ways. Since I'm a lazy bum I will give a big THANK YOU! to everyone who has faved any of my works while I've been neglecting dA.

Now for my half-assed attempt to justify my neglect: the end of school rush, of course, but that is over now. I got a job at a dry cleaner's, which isn't particularly difficult although it gets to be reaaally tiresome when I have shifts from open until close. Hopefully that will end soon. On top of that I've been partaking in the unpaid work of blogging--anime blogging, to be specific, which an online friend recruited me for. It is a lot of fun, though, but it can also be time-consuming. I've also been busy getting my cosplay for Anime North done, too, which I actually managed this year. Now I'll need to start working on a new cosplay for Otakuthon!

I have also been pretty down since, as things turned out, we had to put my cat down in the end. It turns out our old vet was crappy and couldn't identify cancer, though thankfully another vet did more thorough tests and helped us do the most we could for her for the last month or so of her life. We certainly weren't planning on getting another cat anytime soon (the idea of replacing lost pets is moronic), but things turned out differently when my mother saw a kitten running through traffic on a highway. My mom got out of her car and made some cars stop while she snatched the kitten and got her into her car. We weren't sure if we'd keep her, though we really couldn't bring ourselves to drop her off at the shelter where we volunteer. In short, T.J. (traffic jam) is part of the family now.

This past weekend was Anime North, Canada's biggest anime convention. It was my fifth time going and was tons of fun! I cosplayed as Micaiah from Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. I need to wait for my friends to post their photos before I can show any here (and only if they are decent, hahaha), although if anyone is curious you can definitely find some pics from the FE photoshoot around dA. I stocked up on Vampire Knight merch, enjoyed midnight iced capp runs, went to a couple of panels and video showings... It was a good time! Did anyone else go?

So here's where I promise that I'll try to be around more often, though who knows if that promise will be kept? I at least want to submit something to the ~fireemblem-club contest next month, so it shouldn't be long before I make another mandatory drop-in!
